What You'll Be Doing
- Ensure reliable performance and availability of onsite IT systems and services.
- Support the stability of onsite network operations by coordinating issue resolution across internal IT teams and external vendors and by following standard IT service and escalation processes.
- Act as the onsite escalation point for major incidents and remain engaged in resolution activities until issues are closed.
- Oversee onsite third party support resources and collaborate with core IT teams to maintain smooth daily operations, ensuring vendors meet service expectations and escalating issues when needed.
- Provide leadership to the onsite IT team by setting expectations, enabling strong customer service practices, supporting day-to-day operational needs, and prioritizing resources during periods of high demand.
- Partner with program leadership to understand operational needs and ensure technology solutions effectively support business requirements.
- Build strong, collaborative relationships across the program and larger IT organizations to ensure alignment, transparency, and shared commitment to business goals.
- Support the strategic alignment of IT objectives with program requirements by contributing to planning activities, communicating priorities, and tracking progress against agreed upon goals.
- Participate in regular engagements with program stakeholders to review performance, share feedback, and align on future needs and initiatives.
- Proactively monitor program needs and technology performance, stay current on relevant industry trends, and recommend improvements to support ongoing operational success.
What You Need to Be Successful
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Business or related degree is required.
- 5+ years of experience in IT supporting enterprise hardware, networks, and end-user technologies is required.
- Effectively manage direct reports.
- Ability to build working relationships with other IT managers (Peers).
- Interacts with Bell business leaders to provide solutions that solve business problems.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a project to on-time completion.
- Strong communication, leadership, and prioritization skills with the ability to influence across technical and business teams.
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic, rapidly changing business and technical environment is required.
- Prior experience managing small teams, preferred.
- Experience working in aviation, aerospace, or high-tempo operational environments is preferred.
- Experience with SAP, Maintenance Repair & Overhaul (MRO) Software is preferred.
