Information Technology (IT) Systems Specialist

About the role

Lake Region Electric Cooperative is seeking an IT Systems Specialist to join their team. This is an on-site position that provides hands-on technology support across Cooperative locations, with regular time spent in Pelican Rapids and Mahnomen. As the Shared Services model grows, this role may also support additional participating organizations and locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person and remote technical support for computers, mobile devices, printers, phones, and other technology resources.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, and technology issues while delivering outstanding customer service.
• Support Microsoft 365, Active Directory, business applications, and enterprise technology systems.
• Aid with hardware deployments, software upgrades, system documentation, and technology lifecycle management.
• Coordinate with technology vendors and partners to resolve issues and implement solutions.
• Participate in technology projects and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and employee productivity.

Requirements

• A combination of education and experience equivalent to four (4) years in information technology, computer systems, networking, or a related field.
• Experience providing end-user technical support and troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows operating systems, networking concepts, and enterprise technology environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• A commitment to continuous learning and staying current with evolving technology.

Qualifications

• Industry certifications such as Microsoft, CompTIA, Cisco, or related certifications are a plus but are not required.

Pay

The starting pay range for this position is $32.00 - $35.00 per hour.
