The United States Space Force (USSF) at Peterson SFB, Colorado is searching for a Network Technician to support CFC/S2 (GG-2210-12).

Responsibilities

• Tackle IT issues, administer servers and networks, and spearhead technology projects that directly support the mission.
• Apply methods and practices for troubleshooting, recovering, adjusting, modifying, and improving systems to solve complex problems, provide support that minimizes interruptions in service to customers, and maintain liaison with industry and other activities to provide awareness of state-of-the-art technology.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S Citizen.
• P业和Incentives funding is available and may be offered.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret / SCI security clearance.
• Required to handle and safeguard sensitive and classified information in accordance with regulations to reduce potential compromise.
• May be required to work overtime on an unscheduled or emergency basis.
• Eligible for situational telework only, including Emergency and OPM prescribed "Unscheduled Telework."
• Subject to Temporary Duty Assignment (TDY): Approximately 15 days per year.
• Incumbent will be subject to psychological screening/ polygraph testing as an inherent primary requirement of their position.
• Drug Testing: This position has been designated by the Air Force as a Testing Designated Position (TDP) under the Air Force Civilian Testing Program.
