Information Technology (I.T.) Intern

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with our Information Technology team in all stages of software implementation and support.
• Help develop, expand and maintain our I.T. channels through insightful contributions.
• Assist with help desk calls from employees, scheduling and service tickets.
• Perform basic end-user troubleshooting of technical issues.
• Under IT staff guidance, perform computer imaging, staging and implementation of software's.
• Aid in maintaining IT standards and documentation.
• Set up video conferencing sessions and other items as needed to assist IT staff.
• Interact with customers to assist with implementation of RAM Construction software and be involved in its maintenance.

Requirements

• Currently attending a college or university in a related degree program such as Information Systems Management (ISM)/Computer Information Systems (CIS)/etc.
• Excellent communication & computer skills.
• Creative problem solving skills.
• Willingness to speak to internal/external individuals directly to create solutions.

Qualifications

• Working towards completing your Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems Management (ISM)/Computer Information Systems (CIS)/etc.

Skills

• Strong computer skills, including e-mail and word processing abilities, Excel, Microsoft Office & Outlook.

Benefits

• $22/hr starting wage.
• $150 Apparel Allowance.

Pay

• $22/hr starting wage.

Schedule

• Main office in Livonia, MI.
• If travel is required, you will be recompensed appropriately (mileage reimbursement, etc).

Physical Demands

• Seeing, hearing, walking, standing, lifting up to 50 lbs., bending, speaking, sitting, learning, reading, concentrating, thinking, communicating and working.
