Information Technology/Data Warehouse Subject Matter Expert (SME)

Description of Task to be Performed: AnaVation is seeking a highly experienced Information Technology/Data Warehousing Subject Matter Expert to support an enterprise-scale migration of legacy data into a secure commercial cloud solution. The selected candidate will play a key role on our technical team and will participate in the architecture, design, deployment, validation, and transition of legacy systems and data into a new secure, scalable, cloud-based data platform. The selected candidate will oversee the successful migration into the new data platform, ensure accessibility in the modernized system, and maintain secure handling of all sensitive information throughout the migration lifecycle. This role requires working onsite in customer spaces and regularly interfacing with government personnel at all levels. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in enterprise IT networks, data engineering, data migration, and secure cloud solutions within federal government environments. This position requires active Top Secret (TS) clearance and the ability to obtain SCI access with a CI polygraph. This position is on-site with our customer in Huntsville, Alabama, and cannot be supported remotely. Required Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field of study; or in lieu of education, five (5) years of additional documented experience that addresses all requirements of the positionMinimum of 8 years of experience in Information Technology, Data Engineering, or Data WarehousingDemonstrated expertise supporting successful large-scale, enterprise modernization or migration projects, preferably in a federal government environmentSenior-level expertise in system modernization, data migration, data engineering, and engineering database systems.
