About the role

This position facilitates business analysis for the service-request lifecycle under the supervision of the Child Care Regulations Enhancement and Release Manager. Key responsibilities include leading the development of user stories from business requirements, ensuring consistency in requirements analysis, and collaborating with IT areas to perform analysis, design, and planning.

Responsibilities

  • Provide input on the requirements management process across the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Develop and conduct training sessions on business processes, business analysis techniques, and standards
  • Provide quality assurance-related consultation to users and oversee projects, assignments, or special initiatives
  • Communicate technical business processes verbally and via workflow diagrams
  • Assist in the development of the agency and IT strategic plan
  • Participate in project teams delivering IT solutions through analysis and documentation of business processes, requirements, and specifications
  • Promote productivity and efficiency by studying current practices, helping customers analyze complex technical and managerial processes, identifying inefficiencies, and assisting customers to realize business value

Requirements

A minimum of five (5) years’ experience as a Business Analyst, or similar job function, is required. Two (2) years of experience working in an Agile, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) environment and two (2) years of experience working with relational databases including Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle Database, MySQL, or IBM DB2 are also required. Preferred experience includes driving cloud migration initiatives and designing integration solutions using MuleSoft.

Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a major in computer Science, Business Administration, Management, or related fields. May substitute direct work experience on a year-for-year basis.

$5,797.66 - $8,000.00 per month
