Information Technology Analyst III
Overview
This 0.80 FTE (32 hours/week) Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) position provides a range of direct mental health services, consultation, and training to contracted public agencies serving young children (ages 0 to 6 years) and their families. Early Childhood Mental Health Consultants work with Multnomah County Head Start, Multnomah Education Service District, and several early childhood care and education settings to provide a range of services to children, families, staff, and administration to promote positive emotional and relational development of children, ages 0 to 6. These services include classroom consultation and training to early childhood educators, child mental health assessment and treatment, family mental health services, child-specific consultation, triage and referral, program/curriculum development, parent education and support, and prevention services. Developmentally appropriate psychiatric evaluation and consultation for these children is also available through this program.
Experience
Minimum two years of professional experience as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) under current Oregon Administrative Rules (OAR 309-032-0535) providing direct mental health services to children and families including very young children (ages 0 – 6 years).
Training: Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in the mental health field required.
