Information Technology Assurance Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Establishing configuration controls and system interfaces for computer systems.
• Maintaining file servers, firewalls, network access, and security monitoring systems.
• Analyzing and troubleshooting system anomalies to ensure optimal performance.
• Reviewing and updating accreditation packages, identifying vulnerabilities, and implementing countermeasures.
• Ensuring compliance with security policies during operation, maintenance, and disposal of AIS and network nodes.
• Providing leadership, mentoring, and quality assurance, along with managing help desk support and account creation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• At least 6 years of SCI or SAP experience.
• Knowledge of LAN/WAN, data backup, and communication security.
• Familiarity with security policies such as ICDs, JAFANs, and DoD manuals.

Preferred Skills

• 3+ years of SAP-related experience.
• Training in JSIG and RMF.
• Experience with PL1 & PL2 systems and cross-domain solutions.

Clearance Requirements

• Current Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Willingness to undergo a polygraph.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to remain stationary and move within the office as needed.
• Effective communication skills for interactions and presentations.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
