About the role
Paul D. Camp Community College seeks adjunct instructors to teach Information Technology courses.
Responsibilities
- Create a learning environment that facilitates students' acquisition of knowledge and skills in a subject.
- Teach using instructional design, delivery, effectiveness, and expertise.
- Engage in scholarly and creative activities, including conference attendance and presentation.
- Support the college’s mission and policies.
- Participate in college development and evaluation plans, department meetings, and committees.
- Assist in emergencies as required.
Requirements
- Master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution with 18 graduate semester hours in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Experience designing and implementing curriculums aligned with student learning goals.
- Knowledge of teaching strategies for traditional and non-traditional students.
- Experience with online teaching and various technologies.
- Ability to evaluate and enhance student learning using formative and summative assessments.
- Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
- Commitment to staying current in the teaching discipline.
Qualifications
- Online teaching certification.
- Experience with online teaching and alternative delivery methods.
- Willingness to incorporate AI into education.
- Experience with technology integration in education.
Skills
- Ability to design and implement curriculums.

- Experience with online teaching platforms.
