Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) - TS/SCI W/Poly - Tysons, Va

Position Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Lead automated security testing efforts using enterprise-level scanning tools.
• Create and deliver monthly vulnerability scans and privileged user/admin reports.
• Serve as the overall lead for system security, protecting data and enforcing need-to-know access.
• Collaborate with the technical team to develop and manage Plans of Action and Milestones (POAMs).
• Develop and maintain the program's System Security Plan (SSP) for Accreditation and Authorization (A&A).
• Author and manage the program's Automated Information Systems (AIS) Plan.
• Assist the Project Manager (PM) with the Contract Security Plan.
• Coincide with the PM, the client's Information System Security Manager, and the INFOSEC Program Council.
• Provide necessary security education and training to program staff.

Required Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI w/ Poly clearance required.
• 47 years of professional experience in the following areas:
• Application security standards and processes.
• Accreditation and Authorization (A&A), including documentation, POAMs, and remediation efforts.
• Implementing application and data security requirements for Authorities to Operate (ATO), including encryption, role-based access control, and information assurance.
• Coordinating with engineering teams to successfully implement security requirements.
• Working within an Agile/Scrum development environment.
