Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and configuration of secure information systems using advanced software engineering methodologies and secure coding techniques.
  • Perform network security analysis based on the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and the Joint Special Access Program Implementation Guide (JSIG) authorization processes.
  • Lead teams of System Security Engineers and Analysts to protect national security interests during equipment design and testing phases.
  • Assess and mitigate system security threats throughout the program lifecycle and provide high-level risk management recommendations to the customer.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate information system security program policies, with a focus on integrating existing SAP network infrastructures.
  • Provide expert-level Tier 3 support and research for exceptionally complex technical problems relating to information security.
  • Design and implement JSIG/RMF continuous monitoring tools, integrating COTS and GOTS products to remediate system security metrics.
  • Perform detailed security assessments of servers, network devices, and security appliances while developing improved assessment efficiencies.
  • Build operational maintenance (O&M) checklists, Tactics, Techniques, and Processes (TTPs), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Technical & Functional Skills: Experience: 15+ years of related experience in cybersecurity and information security engineering. Prior Roles: Previous performance as an ISSO, ISSM, SCA, or SAP IT Technical Director. SAP Expertise: Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience within Special Access Programs. Platforms: Advanced competency in Windows/Linux Servers, Active Directory, Hyper-V/VMWare, Enterprise Networking/Firewalls, and SQL Server. Tools: Proficiency with ACAS/Nessus/SCAP, SIEM (LogRhythm), WSUS, Lumension, and Bitlocker. Frameworks: Strong background in Patch/Configuration management, DevOps, and RMF implementation.
  • Behavioral Skills: Exceptional written and oral communication skills for presenting advanced technical concepts to stakeholders. Ability to think independently and provide highly innovative solutions to unusually complex problems. Strong leadership skills to chair IA working groups and represent the customer in advisory councils.
  • Education & Certifications: Education: Master's degree in a related discipline or 6 years of equivalent professional experience. Security Clearance: Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) eligibility. DoD 8570: Must meet IASAE Level II or III certification requirements within 6 months of hire. Polygraph: Willingness to submit to a Counterintelligence (CI) polygraph.
