About the Role
The Manager of Information Systems is responsible for overseeing application support operations, system performance, and service delivery to ensure optimal functionality and user satisfaction. This role leads and mentors staff, manages projects, monitors KPIs, and drives process improvements while maintaining strong relationships with clinical and operational departments. The IT Manager serves as a key liaison between Information Technology and business stakeholders to ensure technology solutions effectively support organizational goals, regulatory requirements, operational excellence, and exceptional customer experiences.
Responsibilities

- Actively monitors assigned HEAT tickets, documents activities thoroughly, and resolves issues within established service levels.
- Demonstrates thorough knowledge of supported IT systems and ensures timely updates for system releases and patches.
- Evaluates and completes employee job evaluations prior to the due date.
- Ensures supported systems include reports, dashboards, and tools for effective data analysis of key metrics.
- Monitors KPIs, work queues, and related metrics to ensure baselines are met.
- Grooms, mentors, manages, and leads the team effectively; develops educational plans for employee growth.
- Maintains relationships with supported departments by attending meetings and communicating updates.
- Develops and implements processes to regularly report departmental status to all departments.
- Creates detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, budgets, and status reports.
- Monitors staff productivity and develops innovative methods to increase productivity without sacrificing quality.
- Oversees daily operations of assigned systems to ensure accuracy and completeness of staffing and core functions.
- Stays abreast of the latest technology developments and recommends hardware/software changes to meet Medical Center needs.
Requirements
- College degree.
- 4+ years of Application Support Management and/or Project Management experience.
Preferred Experience
Provide leadership, governance, and operational oversight for one or more of the following enterprise applications:
- UKG Workforce Management (Timekeeping, Attendance, and Scheduling).
- Matrix Frontier Enterprise Access Control System.
- PassagePoint Visitor Management System.
- MD Staff Physician and Resident Credentialing System.
- CBORD Food and Nutrition Management System.
- Salesforce Customer Relationship Management (CRM).
- Ivanti IT Service Management (ITSM) Platform.
- DocuSign Electronic Signature and Agreement Management Platform.
