Information Systems Analyst 3 - Client Services - FT - Day
About the role
This position supports the planning, coordination, and execution of small to very large-scale technology deployments for healthcare facilities, from small department moves to multi-story hospitals. This role installs and configures end user devices, reviews technical drawings, and provides guidance to ensure IT requirements and standards are met. This position will partner with IT teams, vendors, and project managers to deliver reliable, timely solutions that support clinical and business operations.
Responsibilities
- Supports the planning, coordination, and execution of technology deployments for healthcare facilities.
- Installs and configures end user devices.
- Reviews technical drawings and provides guidance to ensure IT requirements and standards are met.
- Pairs with IT teams, vendors, and project managers to deliver reliable, timely solutions that support clinical and business operations.
Requirements
- Moderate understanding of various IT technologies including but not limited to VDI, MECM (formerly SCCM), Microsoft Windows, Networking, Active Directory, Intune, DNS, and MDM.
- Moderate understanding of networking and the ability to troubleshoot common networking issues.
- Moderate understanding of mobile operating systems.
- Firm understanding of the latest Windows operating system.
- Familiarity with systems integration such as nurse call, security cameras, access control, and patient monitoring.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field and/or combination of education and equivalent work experience.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks and shifting priorities.
- Ability to work with minimal oversight against a scheduled project plan.
- Ability to work in a group to complete complex projects with strict timelines.
- Ability to travel between sites and work on-site during key deployment phases.
- Ability to lead technical meetings and translate between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- 3-5 years desktop technician experience deploying and troubleshooting IT related hardware in larger enterprise environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong understanding of healthcare IT systems, including EMR/EHR, clinical applications, and device connectivity.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification.
- Moderate understanding of clinical systems and workflows such as patient registration, patient accounting, EMR/EHR’s workflows, EMR printing and the various print devices such as Zebra, Intermec, and Honeywell.
- Experience with Visio, Adobe, Bluebeam, Xyicon, or other space planning software.
- Experience coordinating desktop deployments and other IT projects with construction constraints in healthcare environments, from initial planning through go-live.
- 3–5 years of experience working with coordinating IT projects of varying complexity, preferably in healthcare and enterprise environments.
