About the role

The Information Security Manager III is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the organization’s security program, including risk management, compliance, and incident response. This role requires a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the development and implementation of comprehensive security policies and procedures.
  • Manage and lead a team of security professionals to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Conduct regular security audits and assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation strategies.
  • Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and conduct regular drills.
  • Respond to security incidents and coordinate with external vendors and law enforcement agencies as needed.
  • Stay current with emerging threats and technologies, and advise senior leadership on appropriate responses.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in information security roles, with at least 5 years leading teams.
  • CISSP certification or equivalent.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    • Qualifications

    • Experience with security frameworks such as NIST, ISO, and CIS.
    • Knowledge of security tools and technologies, including SIEM, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
    • Experience with regulatory compliance requirements, such as GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
