Your Impact

You will play a critical role in protecting Heartstream's people, products, data, systems, and facilities. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and continuously improving security strategies, controls, and policies that safeguard our business and support innovation across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain enterprise security strategies, controls, policies, and standards.
  • Lead the detection, response, and resolution of security incidents and events.
  • Provide expert guidance on emerging security risks, threats, technologies, and best practices.
  • Drive security awareness and promote a culture of security across the organization.
  • Support secure product development throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Continuously evaluate and strengthen Heartstream's cybersecurity posture and risk management framework.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 6+ years with a Master's degree, in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Security Architecture, Network Security, or related disciplines.
  • Experience developing and implementing enterprise security programs, controls, and governance frameworks.
  • Experience leading security incident response and security risk management activities.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders to drive security initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Experience within the medical device, healthcare technology, or regulated industry environment.
  • Professional security certifications such as: CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or other relevant cybersecurity certifications.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $150,000 to $200,000 annually. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity. In addition, an annual incentive bonus may be offered.
