Information Security Engineer Remote

For our client, we are seeking a Information Security Engineer Remote to join the team of a leader in the Telecommunications & Hardware space. This role will help strengthen security compliance across cloud-based offerings in a highly regulated and operationally complex environment. You will partner closely with compliance engineers, business units, and leadership to shape control strategies, support audits, and improve the maturity of security governance processes. The position also plays a key role in translating regulatory expectations into practical roadmaps, assessments, and remediation actions that support broader business objectives. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $111,800 – $154,800 annually Responsibilities Support security compliance and regulatory audits for cloud offerings Collaborate with compliance engineers to implement consistent control strategies Partner with business units to enhance adoption of common cloud controls Serve as an expert in relevant security compliance frameworks to guide teams Conduct security assessments and prepare compliance reports with remediation plans Develop and maintain product compliance roadmaps in collaboration with leadership Qualifications 5+ years of experience in security or compliance roles Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field; Master's preferred Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, especially AWS Deep expertise in regulatory compliance frameworks like ISO 27001, SOC2, C5, and ENS Solid understanding of IT security processes including Secure SDLC and IAM Experience working with auditors to achieve compliance certifications Benefits Remote work opportunity Access to ongoing professional development Inclusive and supportive team environment Engagement with leading technology in cloud security Exposure to a diverse array of compliance frameworks and operational contexts Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
