Role Overview
Seeking a Security Engineer specialized in SecOps for cloud architecture, operating across multi-cloud environments (AWS & GCP) with focus on automation and security best practices. Responsible for deploying and managing CSPM, CNAPP, and CWPP tools to ensure secure configurations, monitor workloads, and automate responses to security alerts. Collaborates with teams to review infrastructure, IAM policies, and enable rapid, secure software releases while maintaining compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multi-cloud governance and automate misconfiguration detection/remediation.
- Implement container security strategies, integrating image scanning into CI/CD pipelines.
- Deploy workload protection tools, monitor runtime behavior, and automate alert responses using SOAR.
- Review infrastructure, manage permissions, and oversee secret management workflows.
- Collaborate on release readiness and address customer inquiries regarding vulnerabilities.
Qualifications & Skills
- Deep understanding of AWS and GCP architectures, IAM, and networking security.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Go, Bash) for automation and auto-remediation.
- Experience with IaC, especially secure Terraform modules, and developer-focused security components.
- Expertise in container security, runtime defenses, and admission controllers.
- Ability to operate pragmatically within a lean team, prioritizing security risks effectively.
- Experience managing privileged access and implementing Just-In-Time policies.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with event-driven automation using AWS Step Functions or Google Cloud Workflows.
- Performance tuning for security agents and knowledge of Linux security primitives.
