Information Security Director

About the role

The Information Security Director at Freeman Health System is responsible for the direction and leadership of operational, financial, programmatic, and employee-related activities for the Information Security program.

Responsibilities

• Establishing, meeting, and continuously monitoring goals and objectives aligned with organizational strategy.
• Leading the development and implementation of cybersecurity strategy, governance, and operations.
• Oversight of Cyber Security Operations and Identity and Access Management (IAM).
• Ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems and data.
• Working closely with stakeholders across the enterprise to achieve these goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated success leading enterprise security programs.
• Strong regulatory and compliance knowledge.

Preferred Requirements

• 10+ years of cybersecurity experience.
• 5+ years leadership experience.
• Healthcare IT experience preferred.
• CISSP, CISM, or equivalent certifications preferred.
