Information Officer I (Spec)
About the role
The California Rural Health Transformation Program (CalRHT) is overseen by the Information Officer I (Specialist) under the direction of the Public Information Officer II. This position focuses on developing and distributing written and visual materials, responding to inquiries from the news media, and engaging with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Develop and produce talking points, presentation slides, infographics, social media content, news releases, web copy, marketing materials, executive speeches, and other informational materials.
- Respond to inquiries from the news media, the general public, and other interested parties.
- Distribute content to target audiences, including news media, rural health stakeholders, and other interested parties.
Requirements
Effective July 1, 2025, specific Bargaining Units and associated Excluded State employees are subject to a salary reduction between 2% - 4.62% in exchange for Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) hours each month. Qualifications
