Information Governance Manager

About the role

The Information Governance Manager leads firmwide matter mobility and legal hold operations, ensuring the effective management of information throughout the matter lifecycle. Leveraging extensive experience in law firm information governance, data management, and stakeholder collaboration, the Manager oversees cross-functional IG initiatives related to matter lifecycle management, client file transfers, records retention/disposition, and governance controls intended to reduce risk associated with confidentiality, privacy, security, and compliance. This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Physical requirements include sedentary work (lifting up to 10 pounds), sitting most of the time, with walking and standing often necessary.
