Influencer Branded Content Senior Lead
About the role
At PMG, our Influencer & Branded Content team helps brands connect with audiences in authentic, meaningful ways through high-impact influencer campaigns. This role oversees the strategy of key campaigns, develops and executes influencer and branded content, and drives organic growth.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the strategy of key influencer marketing campaigns and maximize the efficiency and quality of the team to ensure all aspects of the campaign meet and exceed client expectations.
- Craft end-to-end full-scale influencer and branded content campaigns, including client briefing process, influencer identification, negotiations, publisher partnerships, activation, content approvals, and reporting and analytics.
- Communicate strategy, campaign status, and performance to senior-level clients via weekly calls, email exchange, and in-person meetings.
- Leverage knowledge of all social media platforms, both established and emerging.
- Track and synthesize ongoing trends in influencer marketing to ensure we are best in class.
- Drive organic growth, through the integration of more media channels, to bring content-based programs to life.
- Take an active role in new business opportunities, including writing RFP responses, developing pitch concepts, researching influencers, and contributing to pitch efforts.
- Collaborate with analytics and strategy teams to develop measurement plans that assess impact and optimize performance.
- Leverage product development teams to identify and prioritize technological advancements of the practice, coupled with larger business priorities, integrating with the Alli platform.
- Work in partnership with additional Media Centers of Excellence (i.e. Affiliate, Social, Video, etc.) to strengthen connection and impact strategies for a more cohesive, full-funnel approach.
- Work alongside the Head Leader of Influencer & Branded Content to modernize PMG’s Influencer and Branded Content offering, while also cross-training PMG's internal practitioners to ensure the team's capabilities are evolving and staying ahead of the curve.
- Serve as a thought leader on emerging platforms, creator culture, and best-in-class content innovation.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in Influencer & Branded Content, including 3+ years of leadership experience, with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Expertise in content creation and influencer marketing strategy, driving impactful partnerships and innovative campaigns.
- Experience in contract review and proposal development, ensuring smooth negotiations and long-term influencer collaborations.
- Advanced detail orientation, overseeing accurate execution, reporting, and strategic alignment in influencer initiatives.
- Strong proficiency in project implementation, managing high-level influencer campaigns from concept to completion.
- Skilled in presentation and communication, delivering insights, strategic recommendations, and campaign performance analysis.
- Deep understanding of advertising standards, client service, and relationship management, fostering high-quality influencer-brand partnerships.
- Proficiency in influencer management dashboards and social media platforms, leveraging analytics to optimize campaign performance.
- Experience in networking and influencer marketing, building meaningful industry relationships to enhance campaign reach and effectiveness.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- Proven track record of successful influencer and branded content campaigns.
- Experience in managing and negotiating contracts with influencers and agencies.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to inform campaign decisions.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of social media platforms and emerging trends in influencer marketing.
- Experience with influencer management tools and platforms.
