Influencer & Brand Partnership Manager
About the role
The Brand Strategy team is looking for an Influencer & Brand Partnership Manager to own two of Okta's high-potential components of our larger brand campaign: the brand partnerships and paid creator program. This is a build role as much as a run role. Today, our partnerships are treated as one-off productions rather than campaigns, and our creator work is occasional rather than a real channel. Your job is to fix both.
Responsibilities
- Own our brand partnership campaigns from the conceptual phase through hero content, derivatives, landing pages, paid amplification, and partner-channel distribution
- Partner with Field and Events on the hospitality and experiential side of our partnerships, ensuring the campaign and content built around those moments carry our brand and message
- Scale a new creator program with a mix of high-volume micro creators, repeat mid-tier partners, and a smaller number of bigger moments that run more like an always-on media channel than a series of one-off posts
- Design the shape of the creator program, including creator tiers, cadence, and budget allocation, and evolve it as we learn what works
- Source, evaluate, and retain a creator or influencer agency partner to help the program grow by managing relationships directly, including briefing, content development, and paid amplification of the strongest content
- Partner closely with Demand Gen and Comms so creator and partnership content aligns with brand voice and connects into the marketing goals across the business
- Keep every partner and creator execution consistent with our brand, with Okta as the throughline across a wide range of voices and formats
- Measure and report on performance, including reach, engagement, and brand impact, and use it to sharpen the program over time
Requirements
Experience running brand partnerships, sponsorships, or influencer and creator programs, ideally in a B2B or technology environment
A track record of building or scaling a creator or influencer program, including sourcing and managing an agency partner
Strong campaign thinking: you plan content, distribution, and measurement together rather than treating them as separate steps
The judgment to keep a brand's presence prominent inside someone else's world or someone else's content
Experience partnering across creative, demand gen, and communications teams to connect brand-layer work to the rest of the marketing funnel
Strong relationship management skills, both with external partners and agencies and with internal cross-functional teams
Comfort operating with real ambiguity on the newer, less-defined parts of the role
You can approach work with the big-picture and tactical details in mind. You can take a business goal and turn it into compelling campaign activities.
