Responsibilities
- Watch monitor screen and use control buttons to power infeed station.
- Straighten skews on accumulation deck.
- Follow safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Collaborate with other team members to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Remove lumber shims from accumulation deck and place into basement chute.
- Correct board skews and hang-ups at infeed, inspectors, unscrambler and surge deck locations.
- Assist with other tasks assigned by manager.
Requirements
- Must be safety conscious, have a positive attitude, and work well in a team environment.
- Must have and maintain an excellent attendance record.
- Work at a fast pace and be a detail-oriented team player.
- Pre-employment drug screen required.
- Candidates must be able to lift 50+ pounds on a regular basis.
- Always required to wear personal protective equipment.
- Cross-training in other production-related jobs.
- Job rotation is required to grow your skills in other areas.
- An all-around positive work attitude, at all times.
