Infeed Material Operator

About the Role
We are hiring Infeed Material Operators in Mooresville, NC for immediate placement. This role involves servicing the flow of material to extruders for processing.
Responsibilities
- Operate and troubleshoot all material blending systems
- Clean all material system filters, socks, and canisters
- Monitor regrind usage and make adjustments based on departmental goals
- Maintain material flow to all machines within your area of responsibility
- Certify and drive a standup forklift
- Complete all required paperwork
- Identify and properly label all materials put into gaylords for later use
- Maintain material hoses; replace when necessary
- Maintain housekeeping of all blender mezzanines, silo room, compressor area, and back aisle up to the railroad tracks
- Clean silo access rooms
- Write work orders for items in need of repair
- Communicate with the following shift and operators
- Follow and perform company safety procedures and policies
- Perform all other assigned duties
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- Basic math skills
- Ability to work 30 feet off the ground
- Good communication skills and ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels within the organization
- Ability to lift 75 lbs occasionally as job demands
- Ability to work standing or walking, in a hot environment, for 12 hours with appropriate breaks
Pay
$21.32 up to $26.12 per hour based on experience, with an additional $1 per hour shift differential.
Schedule
- 7 AM – 7 PM (Days) on a 2-2-3 schedule
- 7 PM – 7 AM (Nights) on a 2-2-3 schedule
