Responsibilities
- Carry out market research on potential clients in assigned specialties.
- Gather information from Physician Account Executives, HCPAMs, and IAMs regarding specialty opportunities.
- Create a pipeline of prospects, estimate closing dates, and forecast annual revenue.
- Oversee representatives to drive specific IDI anchor tests in various specialties such as Rheumatology, Pediatrician, Allergist, Occ Med, Infectious Disease, Internal Medicine, General/Family Practice, FQHC, Gastro, Multi-Specialty Groups.
- Engage in business development activities to schedule sales presentations with decision-makers.
- Present the value proposition to potential clients and secure pricing and special services.
- Complete the contracting process and initiate client setup and onboarding.
- Follow up on qualified leads from Internal Account Managers and provide ongoing support.
- Collaborate with regional Marketing to analyze trends and insights in the specialty space.
- Provide educational resources to other sales reps on opportunities within specialty accounts.
Requirements
- Three years of sales experience in healthcare sales and servicing.
- Preferred five years of healthcare sales experience in general and specialty fields.
- Knowledgeable in clinical aspects of assigned specialties.
- Understanding of sales processes, account management, and sales productivity.
- Proficiency in marketing tools such as Salesforce.
- Strong capabilities in prospecting, strategizing, and closing new business opportunities.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Biology (preferred), or Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Life Sciences.
- Driver's License (required).
