Infection Prevention Coordinator

Responsibilities Assist with the implementation and maintenance of the hospital's Infection Control Program and surveillance activities. Serve as a resource across hospital departments, participating in projects and groups related to Infection Control. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Clinical Microbiology, or a related health science required; Master's preferred.Experience: 2-5 years of clinical experience in a health-related field; 1 year in Infection Prevention or epidemiology preferred.Technical Skills: Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.License/Certification: Valid license in Nursing, Medical Laboratory Sciences, or related health science; certification eligibility if applicable. Key Duties: Support infection control efforts, participate in surveillance, and collaborate with hospital teams to promote patient safety and compliance with infection prevention standards.
