Infection Prevention Coordinator
Job Summary
The Infection Preventionist promotes and delivers high quality, patient-centered care by assisting with the administration of Infection Prevention policies, procedures and programs. As a member of the Infection Prevention program and team, the Infection Preventionist identifies, investigates, reports, and monitors the incidence of nosocomial infections among patients and personnel, and implements policies and procedures to prevent cross-contamination.
Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Nursing, required
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing, preferred
- 1 to 3 years experience, required
- 1+ years experience in a clinical setting, preferred
- 1+ years experience in Infection Control, preferred
