Infection Prevention Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Assist with implementing and maintaining the hospital's Infection Control Program and surveillance activities.
• Serve as a resource across departments and participate in projects related to Infection Control.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Clinical Microbiology, or a health-related science required; Master's preferred.

Experience

• 2-5 years of clinical experience in a health-related field.
• 1 year in Infection Prevention or epidemiology preferred.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.

Licenses/Certifications

• Current license in Nursing, Medical Laboratory Sciences, or related health science.
• Eligible for certification if applicable.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of infection control practices.
• Teamwork, professionalism, and communication skills necessary to collaborate across hospital departments.
