Job Summary

Under supervision and the direction of the Master Teacher, performs the necessary duties to assist in the planning and implementation of a comprehensive full year child development program for infants/toddlers.

Requirements / Qualifications

• California Child Development Associate Teacher Permit or higher level permit (Attach copy from ctc.ca.gov)
• Three units infant/toddler care development required (Attach college transcripts)
• Valid Pediatric CPR/First Aid Certification. (Attach copy of front & back of the card - Online classes not accepted)
• Graduation from high school required.
• One year experience in an early childhood setting preferred.
• Enrollment in Associates or Bachelor's degree program in child development or related field preferred.

Other Requirements

• Must provide a personal vehicle-employer reasonably expects driving to be one of the job functions.

Benefits

• A Benefit Entitlement for health, dental and vision coverage is available for positions that are at least 4 hours per day. The amount of the entitlement is based on the number of hours worked per day.

Additional Information

Location: Muncy Early Head Start, 2416 Janna Ave, Modesto, CA

Schedule: 247 work days/261 paid days/year, 8 hrs/day (7:30 AM - 4:30 PM)

Pay Range: $21.95 - $26.88 Per Hour (Range 7, CFS CSEA Classified Salary Schedule). Initial salary placement restricted to a maximum of Step 3 ($24.44) for external applicants.

Immunizations: Must comply with Senate Bill 792 immunization requirements for influenza, pertussis, and measles.
