About the role

The Stanislaus County Office of Education seeks an Infant/Toddler Educator to assist in the planning and implementation of a comprehensive full year child development program for infants/toddlers under the supervision of the Master Teacher.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning and implementation of a comprehensive full year child development program for infants/toddlers.
• Provide daily care and supervision to infants/toddlers in a safe and nurturing environment.
• Implement curriculum and activities that promote physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development.
• Participate in home visits as needed.
• Collaborate with other professionals to ensure the best care and education for the children.

Requirements / Qualifications

• California Child Development Associate Teacher Permit or higher level permit (attach copy from ctc.ca.gov).
• Three units infant/toddler care development required (attach college transcripts).
• Valid Pediatric CPR/First Aid Certification (attach copy of front & back of the card - online classes not accepted).
• Graduation from high school required.
• One year experience in an early childhood setting preferred.
• Enrollment in Associates or Bachelor’s degree program in child development or related field preferred.
• Three units infant/toddler care development required.

• DOJ/FBI/CACI Fingerprint clearance.
• TB clearance.
• Pre-Employment Physical/Drug Screen/Lift clearance.

Benefits
