Infant Room Teacher

About This Role

Community of Faith LearningCenter in Davenport, FL is seeking a qualified Infant Room Teacher to work with Infant / Toddler (0–2) in a faith-based program environment. This position requires a willingness to earn a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, with employer support.

Responsibilities

• Provide a nurturing environment for children 6 weeks to 12 months
• Help to provide for basic needs
• Create a fun and safe learning environment
• Develop schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, cognitive skills, social and emotional growth
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents
• Communicate with parents on students' growth and progress
• Maintain the health and safety of all students

Requirements

• Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or other related fields is a plus
• Passionate about working with children
• Ability to build rapport with children
• Positive and patient demeanor
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Flexible
• Prefer state DCF hours of 45. Willing to work with right candidate.
