Infant Room Teacher

About the Role

The Lead Teacher is responsible for the academic, social-emotional growth and development of all children in their care, which may include infants, toddlers, and preschool-age children. This role involves developing partnerships with parents to engage and encourage parent participation in the program.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and implement educational activities for children.
• Make decisions on behalf of children and protect their well-being.
• Manage confidential information appropriately.
• Serve as a role model for children, demonstrating emotionally stable and appropriate behavior at all times.
• Lift and carry up to 25 pounds, and in case of emergency, a 40-pound child.

Requirements

• Early Child Development knowledge and experience.
• Ability to demonstrate appropriate daily behavior, expression of emotions, and role modeling.
• Inappropriate physical or emotional expressions are not acceptable.
