Infant Lead Teacher
About the role
Lead all daily routines for the infant classroom, including feeding, diapering, napping, and developmental activities.
Create a warm, responsive, and engaging learning environment that supports each child's individual needs.
Implement age-appropriate learning experiences using The Learning Experience's proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum.
Observe, document, and communicate developmental milestones with families.
Mentor and support assistant teachers to ensure consistency and high-quality care.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment.
Build strong partnerships with families through daily communication and relationship building.
Ensure compliance with all New York State and NYC health, safety, and licensing requirements.

Requirements
- Average of 5+ years of professional childcare experience and a high school diploma.
- Previous infant classroom experience required.
- Strong understanding of infant development and responsive caregiving.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
Qualifications
- Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
- CDA accepted.

$20–$24 per hour (based on education and experience)
