About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated, career-oriented teacher with a passion for Early Childhood Education.

Responsibilities

  • Plans, supervises, and implements a superior Early Childhood Educational program in accordance with school policies and The Malvern School philosophy.
  • Maintains a safe, healthy, and educational environment for the class.
  • Communicates regularly with parents, in person and through the use of technology, meeting (or exceeding) parent expectations.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field.
  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, including 30 credit hours in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 1 year of experience with children.
  • An associate’s degree from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 2 years of experience with children.
  • An associate’s degree from an accredited college or university, including 30 credit hours in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 3 years of experience with children.

Qualifications

  • Must have a valid Pennsylvania Child Abuse Clearance.
  • Must have a valid Pennsylvania Criminal Background Check.
  • Must have a valid Pennsylvania Child Development Assessment (CDA).

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $60,000 annually.

Schedule

This is a full-time position, Monday - Friday.
