Infant Lead Teacher

About the role

Carrington Academy is seeking an Infant Lead Teacher to join our team. Our infant program provides a safe, nurturing environment where the youngest learners can explore, grow, and reach important developmental milestones — all while feeling secure and supported.

Responsibilities

• Provide a warm, responsive, and engaging classroom experience that supports each child’s individual needs.
• Build strong, trusting relationships with families through daily communication and care updates.
• Create a safe and stimulating classroom environment where infants can develop curiosity, confidence, and early learning skills.
• Collaborate with your teaching team to maintain consistent routines, meet licensing standards, and uphold our school’s commitment to excellence.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old and meet state licensing requirements.
• Minimum of associate’s degree in early childhood education or related field required.
• Prior experience in a licensed childcare center.
• A nurturing personality with patience, flexibility, and a genuine love for working with babies.

• Authorization to work in the United States

Pay

• $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
