Industry Solutions Manager

About the role

The Industry Solutions Manager (ISM) acts as a Senior Solutions Engineer within a specific industry or product portfolio. This role is responsible for ensuring Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) sales booking targets are achieved and supporting Account Executives through all aspects of the pre-sales process. The ISM gathers market and competitive intelligence, identifies trends and threats, and collaborates with other teams to address them. Additionally, the ISM enhances the Trapeze brand and EAM product portfolio perception through thought leadership activities.

Responsibilities

• Support the Account Executive and Account Manager community through all aspects of the pre-sales cycle to exceed EAM sales booking targets.
• Collaborate with the EAM Product Director to define the vision and strategic objectives for products and tools, ensuring effective execution from a pre-sales perspective.
• Create transfer-of-information documents after conducting discovery on complex projects with prospective and current customers.
• Develop a clear set of customer account targets for EAM product lines and work with Account Executives to create and contract opportunities in these accounts.
• Ensure all proposed solutions are deliverable by the Professional Services organization.
• Deepen competitive intelligence by engaging with customers, prospects, and industry contacts to understand competitors’ value propositions, strengths, and weaknesses; document and evangelize these findings.
• Work with the Marketing group to secure speaking opportunities at key conferences, publish blog posts on industry trends, and contribute articles to industry publications.
• Collaborate with Customer Support and Delivery organizations to develop compelling customer stories that highlight solution capabilities and effectiveness.
• Contribute to a multi-year product roadmap that extends beyond the current product portfolio.
• Collaborate with ISMs of adjacent solutions in a team-focused approach to develop enterprise solutions that exceed customer expectations.
