Industry SME Contractor

We are seeking a contract Industry Subject Matter Expert (SME) Contractor in the ammonia industry, focused on gray ammonia production. The ideal candidate will have specialized knowledge across engineering, technology, business management, operations, and maintenance within an ammonia production environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide expertise related to gray ammonia production.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of industry trends, challenges, and opportunities.
• Provide expert insights to support project objectives and client needs.
• Develop detailed reports and presentations communicating industry-specific findings and recommendations.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure industry best practices are incorporated into project deliverables.
• Support the development of strategic plans and solutions tailored to the ammonia industry.
• Participate in client meetings and workshops as an industry expert.
• Address industry-related questions and concerns from client stakeholders.
• Apply practical experience from leading an ammonia plant to inform project analysis, recommendations, and solutions.
• Provide expertise across engineering, technology, operations, and maintenance within an ammonia production environment.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in the ammonia production industry.
• Prior experience as a Vice President of Ammonia or in a comparable ammonia industry role.
• Experience working at or supporting an ammonia plant.
• Direct experience working within a gray ammonia production environment.
• Must be geographically based in the United States and legally authorized to work without employer sponsorship.

Pay

The expected pay range for this contract assignment is $290-$300 per hour. The exact pay rate will vary based on skills, experience, and location and will be determined by the third-party whose employees provide services to Deloitte.
