Job Responsibilities
Under general supervision, responsible for the efficient operation of an industry program within a correctional setting for a potential multishift operation.
Supervise employee/inmate workers.
Screen, select, train and evaluate assigned personnel.
Provide rehabilitation and self-improvement opportunities for inmates.
Serve as correctional officer in maintaining internal security.
Supervise and perform administrative functions as assigned/required.
Serve as plant manager when needed.
Schedule subject to change.
Requirements
Must successfully complete four (4) weeks of SCDC Basic Training upon hire.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma and relevant program experience.
- A bachelor's degree may be substituted for the required program experience.
