Job Responsibilities

Under general supervision, responsible for the efficient operation of an industry program within a correctional setting for a potential multishift operation.

Screens, selects, trains and evaluates assigned personnel.

Provides rehabilitation and self-improvement opportunities for inmates.

Serves as correctional officer in maintaining internal security.

Serves as plant manager when needed.

Schedules subject to change.

Must successfully complete four (4) weeks of SCDC Basic Training upon hire.

Minimum And Additional Requirements

State of South Carolina Minimum Requirements: A high school diploma and relevant program experience. A bachelor's degree may be substituted for the required program experience.
