What You’ll Do
- Set up, understand and proficiently operate all welding equipment.
- Troubleshoot various and appropriate machine problems.
- ID and tag shop orders with the product.
- Retrieve/enter data into the system.
- Ensure quality and proper documentation on all parts.
- Maintain components and supplies as required to operate efficiently.
- Weld components based on print specifications.
- Perform 5S & Continuous Improvement activities.
Qualifications
- Basic (Required) Qualifications: Must have a minimum of one (1) year TIG and MIG welding
- Must have a High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution
- No relocation benefit is being offered for this position.
- Only candidates that currently reside within the immediate geographical area of Sherman, TX will be considered.
- Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation
- Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
- This means that Eaton will not support any CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT plans, F-1 to H-1B, H-1B cap registration, O-1, E-3, TN status, I-485 job portability, etc.
- Preferred Qualifications: AWS Weld Certified
- Minimum of 2-3 years TIG/MIG Welding
- Minimum of one (1) year utilizing blueprints (AWS weld symbols) and using simple measuring tools
- Basic computer skills
