About the role

As an Industrial Water/Wastewater Engineering Principal at Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC), you will play a pivotal role in developing strategic visions, leading the growth and expansion of client relationships, and managing a broad spectrum of industrial water and wastewater projects.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert technical guidance and advisory support to clients and internal teams
  • Develop and oversee project scope, schedule, quality assurance, and cost control
  • Lead and direct multidisciplinary project teams to ensure successful completion
  • Expand existing client relationships and develop new business opportunities within Manufacturing, Mining, Power, and Solid Waste markets
  • Collaborate across multiple office locations and with Market Group leaders to expand services and drive revenue growth
  • Actively support recruiting, hiring, and mentoring staff to meet project and client needs

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical, Environmental, or Civil Engineering
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required
  • Demonstrated experience in business development and client relationship management
  • Strong understanding of consulting project management principles and delivery tools
  • Technical expertise in industrial water and wastewater systems and projects
  • Extensive experience with Process calculations, Block Flow Diagrams (BFDs) and Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Mass balance development, Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), Process control and instrumentation systems, Equipment and piping specifications
