Industrial Water/Wastewater Engineering Principal
About the role
As an Industrial Water/Wastewater Engineering Principal at Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC), you will play a pivotal role in developing strategic visions, leading the growth and expansion of client relationships, and managing a broad spectrum of industrial water and wastewater projects.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert technical guidance and advisory support to clients and internal teams
- Develop and oversee project scope, schedule, quality assurance, and cost control
- Lead and direct multidisciplinary project teams to ensure successful completion
- Expand existing client relationships and develop new business opportunities within Manufacturing, Mining, Power, and Solid Waste markets
- Collaborate across multiple office locations and with Market Group leaders to expand services and drive revenue growth
- Actively support recruiting, hiring, and mentoring staff to meet project and client needs
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical, Environmental, or Civil Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Demonstrated experience in business development and client relationship management
- Strong understanding of consulting project management principles and delivery tools
- Technical expertise in industrial water and wastewater systems and projects
- Extensive experience with Process calculations, Block Flow Diagrams (BFDs) and Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Mass balance development, Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), Process control and instrumentation systems, Equipment and piping specifications
