- Waste Services: Customized waste processing solutions for hazardous and non-hazardous industrial and commercial waste, including landfill diversion, solidification of liquid waste, recycling, wastewater treatment, and waste sequestration.
- Railcar Services: Specialty cleaning services for difficult-to-clean products (chemicals, hardened materials, pressurized gases) and comprehensive repair services for certified full-service repairs, tank car qualifications, and maintenance.
- Marine Services: State-of-the-art barge cleaning, repair, and gas-free facilities for various chemical solvents and downstream petroleum products.
Responsibilities
- Ensure Health & Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and always acting in a safe manner.
- Unload and load wastes in conformance to company rules and regulations.
- Load, unload, and sample solid waste safely in accordance with Company, federal, state, and local regulations/rules.
- Operate heavy machinery in confined areas.
- Operate a fork truck with attachments.
- Perform daily inspections on operating equipment.
- Perform basic operator maintenance.
- Perform basic spill cleanup and housekeeping duties as directed.
- Maintain work areas in a clean and safe condition.
- Use PPE: Boots, Gloves, Eye/Ear Protection, and Reflective clothing.
- Shovel, sweep, and clean assigned areas periodically throughout the day.
- Identify and report safety hazards.
- Perform any other duty assigned by Management.
- Basic knowledge of Flair Operations.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of shipping, receiving, and warehouse experience.
- High School Diploma/GED.
- Ability to operate a forklift and other heavy equipment.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Mechanic experience (preferred).
- Ability to lift 51 lbs. unassisted.
- Basic math, reading comprehension, and writing skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively.
- Ability to work in a dusty environment doing repetitive motions in any weather.
- Ability to work independently or as a team.
- Dependable.
- Must be able to pass a Pulmonary Function test and respirator fit test.
