Position Overview

As an Outside Sales Representative, you will own the full sales cycle, from identifying and engaging new prospects to closing deals and nurturing long-term relationships across a diverse range of industries. You will be supported by a dedicated inside sales and marketing team, giving you the infrastructure to focus on what you do best: building relationships and winning business. Because this is a remote position with no geographic limitations, you will have the freedom to structure your days around results, not routine. The compensation structure combines a weekly base with monthly commission, meaning your earning potential scales directly with your success. Position Responsibilities

  • Proactively prospect and develop new customer relationships across target industries, including medical, pharmaceutical, technology, and industrial sectors.
  • Manage and grow a personal sales pipeline to consistently achieve and exceed revenue goals.
  • Partner with customers and their engineering teams to understand labeling, overlay, gasket, and insulator application requirements and propose effective, cost-conscious solutions.
  • Recommend material and process changes that improve product performance or reduce costs for the customer, reinforcing the company’s value as a trusted solutions partner.
  • Organize and execute a structured daily outreach schedule to maximize engagement with prospective and existing accounts.
  • Collaborate with the inside sales and marketing team to align on strategy, leverage shared resources, and contribute to a productive team environment.
  • Attend remote project meetings to stay informed on customer timelines, manufacturing updates, and internal priorities.
  • Identify and qualify prospective customers based on product fit and revenue potential.
  • Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally to protect and strengthen long-term relationships.

Position Qualifications

  • A demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment, with clear examples of new business development success.
  • A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in industry-specific outside sales, ideally within manufacturing, custom fabrication, or a related technical product category.
  • Proven ability to prospect independently, manage a pipeline, and close business without relying on inbound leads alone.
  • Experience working directly with engineers or technical buyers to develop solutions-based proposals.
  • Familiarity with custom labels, overlays, gaskets, insulators, or similar precision-manufactured identification products (preferred).
  • Experience selling into medical, pharmaceutical, or regulated industrial markets (preferred).
  • Self-directed, highly motivated, and comfortable working autonomously in a remote environment while staying closely connected to a collaborative team.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills that translate into long-term customer retention and repeat business.
