About the role

Sales Specialists support three primary store priorities: Customers First, In Stock, and Store Appearance. By supporting these priorities, Sales Specialists drive sales to support department and store goals.

Customers First

• Provide fast, thorough, and friendly service to customers
• Welcome customers to the store
• Assess customer needs
• Locate merchandise
• Provide information on products and services
• Make purchasing recommendations

In Stock

• Assess stock levels
• Perform light pack down and pack out activities as needed

Store Appearance

• Ensure products are displayed and signed
• Clean shelves
• Remove debris from aisles and showrooms to promote an appealing shopping environment

Safety

Each associate has the responsibility of providing a safe working and shopping environment by:

• Following all safety policies & standards
• Completing specified safety training
• Immediately correcting hazards & unsafe conditions or reporting conditions to the Manager On Duty
• Working safely so as not to endanger themselves, co-workers, vendors, or customers
