Responsibilities
- Develop, design, and execute industrial projects from proposal through commissioning.
- Provide technical support to Industrial and Power Testing Solutions divisions.
- Manage project timelines and resources.
- Supervise installation and commissioning processes.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- At least ten years of related experience in electrical design of industrial electrical power systems.
- Experience with low-voltage (
- Knowledge of SKM Power Tools for Windows or EasyPower Software for short-circuit, load flow, coordination, and arc flash hazard analysis.
- Ability to specify and program protective devices, including trip units and protective relays.
- Proficiency in AutoDesk AutoCAD and/or Revit for development of electrical schematics and installation plans.
- Thorough knowledge of NEC as applied to industrial electrical design.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
- Business acumen and strong attention to detail.
- Professional engineering license (preferably in Iowa or Illinois).
Qualifications
- Registered Professional Engineer (PE) license (preferred).
- Reimbursement for professional fees and continuing education required to maintain PE license in additional states and/or territories as needed.
