About the role
This opportunity is a full-time and benefits-eligible position.
Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently perform plumbing labor to complete construction associated with building cruise ships.
- Have an aggressive work ethic with a focus on production.
- Perform layout, fabrication, and installation of piping systems.
- Assemble, install, repair, and maintain marine piping, hydraulic, and plumbing systems.
- Fabricate, fit, and repair marine piping systems and related components.
- Operate hand-held power tools, pneumatic tools, and manual tools safely and effectively.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, sketches, specifications, and templates.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures at all times.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and lead personnel.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Perform all other duties as assigned to support operational needs.
Requirements
- Experience with marine or industrial piping systems, fitting, and installation.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, specifications, and templates.
- Knowledge of applicable industry codes, standards, and regulations.
- Ability to safely operate tools, equipment, and machinery required for the job.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
