About the role

The Industrial Piping Estimator is responsible for preparing detailed estimates for industrial piping projects. This includes analyzing project specifications, creating accurate cost breakdowns, and communicating with clients to ensure project requirements are met.

Responsibilities

• Analyze project specifications and drawings to prepare accurate cost estimates
• Communicate with clients to clarify project requirements and expectations
• Create comprehensive cost breakdowns and reports
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure project costs align with design and construction plans
• Stay updated with industry standards and pricing trends to provide competitive estimates

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial piping estimating
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Qualifications

• Knowledge of industrial piping systems and materials
• Experience with estimating software such as ProEst or similar tools
• Understanding of project management principles and practices

Pay
