Industrial Piping Estimator

About the role

Responsible for preparing detailed estimates and drawings for industrial piping projects. Works closely with project managers and clients to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for industrial piping projects
• Create detailed drawings and specifications for piping systems
• Collaborate with project managers and clients to discuss project requirements and timelines
• Ensure all work complies with industry standards and regulations
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to resolve issues and improve processes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial piping estimating
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Knowledge of industrial piping systems and materials
• Experience with estimating software such as ProStructures or Tekla Structures
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Passion for precision and attention to detail

Skills

• Proficient in AutoCAD or similar drafting software
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and practices
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent organizational and time management skills

• $50,000 - $60,000 annually
