About the role

As an Industrial Painter with F.D. Thomas, Inc., you will be responsible for applying coatings to various industrial surfaces to protect and enhance equipment.

Responsibilities

• Apply coatings to metal, plastic, and other materials using spray guns and other painting equipment.
• Ensure all work adheres to safety protocols and quality standards.
• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning and priming as necessary.
• Follow project timelines and meet deadlines.
• Use appropriate safety gear and follow all health and safety regulations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in industrial painting or related field.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Good physical condition and ability to stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in using spray painting equipment.
